My work is influenced by stories embedded in rocks and the natural world—geological time, hidden chasms, cosmic connections, and the liminal spaces between beginnings and endings. Working across drawing, painting, collage, and sculpture, I blend research and imagination to create pieces that function as portals into layered worlds. I approach geology as a storytelling science, believing that rocks hold the Earth’s narratives both materially and spiritually. By reimagining the world as told through stone, I use geologic layers and buried strata to suggest that the ground beneath us is porous—an archive of myth and memory waiting to be uncovered. My work invites reflection on our relationship with nature, the rituals we perform, the stories we carry, and the objects we choose to keep.
